Ladies CCM Encore

Here she is, the Ladies CCM Encore circa I-don't-know-yet. My brother Mike gave her to me. His previous roommates discarded her amongst the rubbish when they moved out. He took her in, fixed her up a bit and passed her on to me where she has thrived and blossomed into what you may see today. I've searched for information about the CCM Encore, and all I could find was this painting by Carolle Beaudry. If you know about the CCM Encore line of bicycles and can help me identify this bike, please let me know.

This is where she sleeps. This is the hallway to my bathroom. There is just enough room for her wide seat.

From time to time I mend her wounded welds and worn tires. Here she is upside down getting some new rubber.
Famous Faces and Celebrity Riders
Whether it's a night out on the town or just riding around, famous people everywhere love the Encore.
Kris Terauds (BGM) has a ride on the Encore after a night of beer.

Brothers Chris and Geoff Falk show how doubling up on the Encore can be done.

Chris F. demonstrating the attack position.

Geoff F. demonstrating the pointed toe attack position.

I'm demonstrating the proper technique and posture required to ride upon a mound of soil.

I like to take a spin on the Encore from time to time. I may be guilty of abusing it in the past, but these days I treat her nicely.

James Addison likes the Encore. Look at that grin.

Mark Lise is guilty of the same abuse as I am. The Encore gets nothing but love from now on.

Is that a wheelie? An impressive feat.

Reid Garner has been known to ride the Encore, and in this picture he is looking very happy.

The Encore attracts it's share of ladies. Here is Dina after a few beers at the Beagle Pub. Nevermind the underwear showing.

Look at the joy.

sirhops_a_lot@hotmail.com @ 2007.06.07.09:50: I gave the exact same bike to my girlfriend after I rescued it from the basement of an old building and fixed it up. It is in mint condition. Did you ever find out any more about the bike?
TeaAt4pm@hotmail.com @ 2007.07.25.20:16: I have a blue Encore in very good, original condition as well as three other road bikes. I use the Encore for my 20 minute around the immediate neighbourhood after-dinner ride. the Encore seems to date from the 70s but I am not sure of the exact years that they were built.

Yumi @ 2007.10.06.11:56: I found one of these in a pawn shop a few weeks ago and snatched it up. I ADORE it. It needed a new tire and it had the original cording for the breaks and gears, so I had to get it fixed up. But she's beautiful, if rusty.
FigBug @ 2009.11.20.20:33: I want to buy the encore, how much $$$? Mike says it's up in comox just wasting away.
